ITOITZ SUMMER SESSIONS
The discovery of a series of unreleased tapes leads Juan Carlos Pérez, leader of the iconic group ITOIZ, to reflect on the dissolution of the band at its peak, after a clear change of style towards pop that he still denies today. Juan Carlos will thus embark on a cathartic journey to the essence of the group, reliving the band’s beginnings as a progressive rock group in Mutriku in the 1970s, which will serve to reconcile him with the past.
The film was selected in CANNES DOCS Marché Du Film 2023.

LARRAITZ ZUAZO
Larraitz is a director and screenwriter known for directing the series 163 Dias: La Huelga de Bandas (2017) and the recent documentary Itoiz Summer Sessions (2024).
ZURI GOIKOETXEA
Zuri has been working since 2010 as a scriptwriter, director, and producer, first with different artistic groups and then at Doxa Producciones, where she has produced, among others, 163 Dias: La Huelga de Bandas (Larraitz Zuazo, 2017), Meseta (Juan Palacios, 2019) or Fantasia (Aitor Merino, 2021). In 2022 she wrote and directed alongside Ainhoa Andraka Cabeza y Corazón.
AINHOA ANDRAKA
Ainhoa, prominent in the documentary and experimental film industry, has worked on acclaimed projects such as Los Amores Dificiles and Asier ETA Biok. Her talent led her to be recognized as Berlinale Talent in 2015. She has also produced Fantasía and División de Honor, while collaborating on other projects such as Meseta and 592 Metroz Goiti.
